IGNITE WITH SUCCESSBAYO

Ajayi Adebayo editGreetings to you, I welcome you to the first edition of ignite. I must start by highlighting the essence of this “Ignite series“. Ignite was born out of passion to help people live a life of significance. A life of significance can only be actualized if you do exactly what you are called to do. This series will involve a lot of “purpose walk“, if I were you I will put on my purpose driven shoe. Lol.
Sometimes, I wonder why a lot of people are confused and why a lot of youth are being bitten by the insect of career confusion. There is a particular reason for the existence of each and everyone of you and until you find it, you will only be a wanderer. I once heard a quote that propelled me; “the greatest mystery that can befall a man is to do effectively well what he is not meant to do at all“. This means that it is very possible for you to do the wrong things effectively well.
If Nehemiah had become the prime minster of Egypt and if  joseph was able to restore the broken walls. They won’t have both lived a life of significance. Christians are meant to live a life of significance where they would be solution providers to the world at large. The two most important days in your life are the day you were born…and the day you find out why. ~ Mark Twain. It is essential to know why you do what you do. This is your purpose. And when the purpose is clear and well understood, then you begin to move forward in the right direction. Like building a house and putting down a strong foundation.
One major attribute of people living a purpose filled life is that they have visionary sight. Let me share some real life stories with you;
There was a woman called Helen Keller, though born blind and deaf, she lived a very wonderful and successful life. She was the first blind person to ever earn a degree of Bachelor of Arts. She was able to rise beyond her limitations to live a fruitful life. Someone asked her what could be worse than being blind, she said “Having sight without Vision“. That is having physical eyes open, without being able to see possibilities beyond current realities.
Without a reliable vision, progress is not in view. The foundation for improvement, change and progress is vision. The president of Coca-cola during World war II named Robert Woodruff made a powerful pronouncement “I see a vision that wherever soldiers are 5yrs from now, they will be able to buy bottle of Coca-cola for five cents” They made it and then he expanded the vision and said “I see people all over the world being able to drink Coca-cola” That is how Coca-cola expanded because one man was able to see what naturally speaking at that time, did not make sense at all.
Sam Adeyemi once said “Until our eyes see, our ears hear and our hearts grasp, things cannot move from the invisible world to the visible“.
I will end this introductory session with this; For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible,. . . everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. Colossians 1:16 (Msg).
I am looking forward to seeing you next week. Have a purposeful week.

From your Coach.
