Life Is Not A Straight Line

expectations-vs-reality-300x214Life is not a straight line. There are twists, turns, bumps, slip-ups. You may fall into dark, deep holes and get trapped. Get up, dust yourself and move on.

Life is not a straight line. Amidst its curvatures, trust your journey, appreciate your struggles, pick the broken pieces and learn to lift others; we rise by lifting others.

The pain would visit; trepidation would take a seat; it would teach and tear you apart but don’t let it overstay its welcome.
Don’t downplay your choices.  Your life is a reflection of the choices you make which could either make or break you. Choices are stepping stones to a better life.

Life is not a straight line. Get rid of old skins, start thinking, stop procrastinating, change your mindset. The mind is a battlefield; we must be decisive, lest we are defeated by our enemy.

Break out of that self-imposed prison. There is more to life than being locked up and being miserable for the rest of your life. Set yourself from those handcuffs,  look though the eyes of faith and step into your breakthrough. Don’t be a whiner but a refiner and purifier of souls. A refiner’s fire doesn’t destroy indiscriminately like a forest fire.

Life is not a straight line. Design your life and make it as beautiful as ever. Don’t live a trap of selfishness that it takes people away from you; be selfless and relentless in all your dealings.

Life is not a straight line. It would be easier if there were more hugs than tugs of war. If there were cuddles and huddles rather than trying to burst someone’s bubble.
