NURTURE: The Journey to Significance 14

Watering seedlingHello, Happy new month!
It’s a pleasure to have you here again.
There is two Ns insignificance. The first ‘N’ stands for Nature and the second stands for Nurture.
Today on the journey to significance, we’ll be exploring the subject of Nurture.
The concept of nurture highlights the importance of social environments – who you’re with, and not who you’re born to – and its significant influence on behaviour and thinking ability.
As individuals, we come from different backgrounds, culture and we all have our individual life experiences. People who have a good start in life usually have a whole host of advantages over those who don’t. They tend to be better at school, work and are significantly less likely to be upset or experience problems with their mental or physical health. Although notwithstanding, this always doesn’t apply because most successful people today didn’t really have a good start while growing up.
Your background really has no reason for your back to be on the ground.
Growing from a young child into an independent, self-respecting person is the primary human task. We are fully responsible for it.
While nature focuses on the inherent features, character, or qualities of something, nurture focuses on the care and development of a thing.
Nature VS Nature
There’s a debate known as the nature vs nurture debate. “Nature versus Nurture” is a psychology term related to whether heredity or the environment most impacts human psychological development (behaviour, habits, intelligence, personality, aggressive tendencies, and so on)
The nature versus nurture debate is about the relative influence of an individual’s inborn attributes as opposed to the experiences from the environment one is brought up in, in determining individual differences in physical and behavioural traits.
In recent times, we observe that both types of factors play major roles in human development. Nature and nurture play some role in how we all turn out be.
The truth about this journey of life is that there are no excuses. Whether it’s inherent in you or you have to learn it, it’s your covenant right to live a significant life.
By nature, you have the mind of your creator.
For example in being a good leader, personal traits may help on your way, but industry knowledge, experience and training are essential for success.
Nature and Nurture are fundamental to significance.
One of the reasons why we learn or do a formal education is that it gives us the self-confidence that we’ve got the skills that are needed and it gives us the framework, knowledge and support behind what we are doing.
We learn from the experiences we gain from our environment that goes a long way to define the way we live.
It is risky to stop learning.
In reference to the law of attraction which is the name given to the term that “like attracts like” and that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, one can bring about positive or negative results.
In simple means, we attract whatever we think about, good or bad
Whatever you think, feel and do communicate a whole lot to your world. Like a magnet, your nature connects with people and situations of like nature, attracting them back into your life. Your environment is, in reality, a self-portrait.
The hard truth is that the environment that you find yourself in, whether favourable or not, is the product of your own life.
As you understand the process by which you attract people and things into your life, it becomes clear that you are creating your own self-portrait. You can decide today to modify your thoughts and paint a new picture of your life that it pleases you in every way.
You need to look into your circle and if you’re not comfortable with it, change yourself by committing to learning, identify people, groups and things that defines the kind of person you want to be.
What you feel now is what you are going to attract.
You inherit your environment just as much as your genes.” ― Johnny Rich,
Have a blessed week.
