Pay a Little More Attention

Please start paying a little more attention.

I’m not a fan of “overdo”. I stem towards the minimalist lifestyle than being flamboyant. You don’t have to spend a fortune to look good. You don’t have to upgrade your mobile phone to the latest upon every new release. But you should at least pay a little more attention to everything.

Some people can be too carefree in the name of “I don’t care what people think or say about me”, which yeah you shouldn’t care but you should care about what perception you give by how you talk, how you dress, how you smell…

We all agree that the only room we never leave is the room for improvement. Click To Tweet

If you think it’s necessary to improve your academics, then you should think learning to improve your diction, dress sense, communication skills, soft skills are equally necessary.

From things like paying a little more attention to how you dress, how you combine your garments and colour or even just talking in the shirt as against flying it out to paying attention to every other thing; relationship with people, the ambiance of your environment, checking those little glitches before they escalates.

You don't need to put on the trending label to command attention if you'll just pay the littlest attention to how you care for or wear what you have. Click To Tweet

Bringing this to business, I am a brand and media consultant, one of the many things I do is study and criticize brands and media materials. And one thing that differentiates successful brands or media materials (music, video, movies…) is the ability to be able to pay an extra to part or whole of what they do. e.g. packaging, music video. Paying attention to the little details in business is one quality that guarantees customer satisfaction.

Paying attention to details is like being extra thoughtful. That is what differentiates the extraordinary from the mundane.

Don’t break your bank in a bid to achieve the best (dressing or music video), just pay a little more attention; be extra thoughtful. Be creative.  Creativity isn’t always in the obvious and complex. Many times the simple details are what makes the difference between something we’ve seen before and mindblowing art.

This year, if you’ll add one thing to yourself. Add this. Be meticulous in excellence.

Remember, always pay attention to the little details and never little attention to the details.

Stay Excellent! Shalom! Remember to leave a comment and share
