The Nature of Significance: The Journey to Significance 7

Hello, its great having you again. Today we will be looking at what N stands for on our Journey to significance. N stands for NATURE. And we’ll be talking about the nature of significance.

When you hear the word NATURE? What flows through your mind?

I can tell you I am taking you to a house but until I tell you the nature of the house, you will not have a clue of what the house is made of. You might just be thinking it’s a mud house, Glass house or something.

Nature is the basic or inherent features, character, or qualities of something. It is what a thing entails, the reality of a thing. The composition etc.

The nature of significance comes down to you. It is who or what you value yourself to be. And this comes with a lot of responsibility. What you are made up of is what you will be known for. The value you add is what you are made up of.

So what are you made up of?

Some people are made up of ideas still in their minds, some are made up of music still in their soul, some are made up of fashion wears still on their sketch pads, some are made up of inventions still in their archives, some are made up of books still in their thoughts, some are made up of companies still in their ideas.

With the whole lot you have in you, what are you waiting for?

Significance doesn’t come to the one that does nothing with what he has.

A lot of people dream success as well as dream significance.

This dream will continue to remain a dream if you keep sleeping. You need to wake up and recognize yourself as a person of true value to excellence and humanity.

I’ve met some young people who say I want to do this, I want to do that. I’m like okay! When will you actually start it? Because the more you keep wanting, the more time flies and you end up doing nothing. Whatsoever you want to do, start now. Because if you end up growing old with it. It will just be a dream you’ll be telling your children and your story will be like “I wanted to”

I tried to access the people we refer to as significant. The likes of Mother Theresa, Martin Luther king, Bill Gates. Obviously they didn’t just stumble on it. They fought for a cause and diligently stood by it and today they are people we look up to.

Significance is hundred percent responsibility, hundred percent waking up. Nobody can be successful or significant on your behalf. It takes hard work, Perseverance, Resilience, Diligence, Persistence, Sacrifice and Faith. It’s a good thing to dream but know when to wake up.

God has put in you all there is to make you a person of significance.

Thomas Edison said, if we did all the things we are capable of, we would literally astound ourselves.

I challenge you to do something this week. Take responsibility for your visions and dreams today, Take a step and Do something. It’s good to dream but know when to wake up.

“Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do.” –Johann Wolfang Von Goethe.

Have a Great week
