The bible's position on ABORTION

Chalkboard - AbortionHave you ever heard someone say that the “BIBLE has an answer for EVERYTHING“; issues, topics, situations; covering all aspect of life there is.
In case you have previously doubted the validity of this statement, this new series here on lifegiva2.com will be proving exactly just that. Picking various topics and letting the Bible give the answer. Here, personal opinions will entirely be excluded as all the series will contain is a “copy and paste directly from the bible answers”, mostly in a contemporary English translation for easy understanding.
To be a part of this series, feel free to send in your topics or issues you will like to be featured to any of the addresses or mediums provided at the end of the post. Remember, it can be about ANYTHING.

HERE IS THE FIRST: ABORTION

(Jeremiah 20:17 ERV) “because he did not kill me while I was in my mother’s womb. If he had killed me then, my mother would have been my grave, and I would not have been born.”
Taking the life of the unborn is clearly murder and we very well know God’s position on murder
You shall not murder. (EX 20:13). See also (JER 7:6)
Life is a gift of God and is not to be taken away by abortion.
(Exodus 21:22-23 GW) “This is what you must do whenever men fight and injure a pregnant woman so that she gives birth prematurely. If there are no other injuries, the offender must pay whatever fine the court allows the woman’s husband to demand. If anyone is injured, the offender must pay a life for a life
The unborn child was granted equal protection in the law. If he lost his life, the one who caused it would pay with his own life.
CONCLUSION: Abortion is murder.
As regarding “Abortion when the mother’s life is in danger which records for less than 1% of all abortion case, let the couple pray and receive direction from heaven.
If you have not done it, don’t do it, but if you have, read this;

My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. (1 Jn 2:1-3)

Embrace what Christ Jesus did on the cross, have a repentant heart, confess your sin to Him and like Jesus told the woman caught in adultery “I don’t condemn you, either. Go home, and from now on don’t sin anymore.
