We all love Hillsong, not just because their singers are handsome and pretty (who doesn’t love Taya Gaukrodger (nee Smith), but because they sing Christ-centered, gospel focused songs. They pay attention to their lyrics, and those lyrics glorify Jesus and informs of Christ’s finised works.
They have given us the likes of What A Beautiful Name and Who You Say I Am, and just a few days ago, they released a new single titled Good Grace. When I saw the title, I knew it was going to be good stuff, and I wasn’t disappointed.

I want to believe one major thing they want everyone to leave this song with is that line; Fix your eyes on this one truth, “God is madly in love with you”.
The truth of God’s love is the center focus of the gospel, God loved the world and he proved by coming to the world in the form of a man so that He though sinless, will take on Himself the sin of the whole world, so the world will be made forgiven by His death, and justified by His resurrection.
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
So, yeah, God is madly in love with you.
