Hello Friends! Welcome to the last week of 2015.
This year, we have journeyed through the realities of life on the Journey to significance. We couldn’t have done it all by ourselves. We had the right people, the right things, all set up in the right place for us.
If you can recall from the first post, there was an exercise to write down 10 goals on a sheet of paper and put it away till the end of 12 months, if you have access to it, bring it out and see all that you’ve been able to achieve. It is something to be thankful for.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”

I know there are plans you had that did not even come to be, but check again, is your life not better than the plans you had? I had a lot of plans, some worked, some didn’t, and some I knew nothing about came to be and the reason is because, God has the matchless plan. You are not where you are by your plans. Friends, the best your plan can take you on the journey to significance is nowhere. God is the reason for our significance and there is no duty more urgent than that of returning thanks to him.
Gratitude is defined by your attitude towards both the outside world and yourself. The most significant attitude you can portray is an attitude of gratitude.
Robert Emmons, one of the world’s leading scientific expert on gratitude gave reasons why Gratitude Is Good.
“First,” he writes, “it’s an affirmation of goodness. We affirm that there are good things in the world, gifts and benefits we’ve received.
And secondly, he explains, “we recognize that the sources of this goodness are outside of ourselves.
Being Grateful is not a subject of negotiation. It is acknowledging God as behind every good happenings in your life. You are where you are because of God’s faithfulness.
The reason why everything is still working is because God is at work in your life and if you have a doubt, check your heart if it’s still beating.
Rewire your brain, be aware of the positive things in your life and appreciate God for it.
Gratitude is good attitude, it encourages us not only to appreciate gifts but to repay them or pay them forward, Post 30 (Read it here)
Gratitude turns what you have into enough and happiness is born out of gratitude.
For who makes you different from anyone else, what did you have that you did not receive? In simple terms, Thank God for everything.
I am sincerely grateful to God for his continuous guidance in seeing us through this journey and I’m grateful that you are reading this today.

Look back, the past days of your life, what are you grateful for?

Happy New Year in Advance.

God Bless you.
