Hello friends, Welcome to a new month. Today, we’ll be exploring on the subject of who you are and where you belong.
If you don’t know who you are, how can you be significant?
When you don’t know where you belong, how can you locate it?
If you don’t know what you want, how do you find it?
Sometimes, we need to separate ourselves from the crowds and really try to understand what stirs up fulfilment within us. These questions help us a lot to provide answers to how we view ourselves.
Can you define yourself?
Whenever we are asked to define ourselves, we tend to talk about our job, family status or town where you are from or school you attended etc. but does that really define who you are.
Take some few minutes to do some self-reflection, who are you really? How can you define yourself?
Many people see their career, job, education as everything. Your life goes on while you’re trying to pursue all these. You have this life too. Living your life fully will help you know yourself better.
Behind the job, Ideas, labels is the real you. Understanding yourself will help you build your self-confidence and you’ll feel free to live more consciously and purposely. It builds your competence, you become more goal oriented and at the end live a significant life.
Understanding your place in life is also very important. In last week post, we talked about people and how they influence your life. Where you belong is a vital determination towards your success in life.
Do you belong to the class of those who make things happen or those who watch things happen or the class of people who have no idea that something is happening? Access your associations, access your environment. If it’s a place you don’t find fulfilment I suggest you relocate. Go do something that will make you exercise your full potential, find the environment that will push you to be the best you can be. Life is a choice, remember it’s all up to you to take a stand for what you want.
We can experience change when we own our present reality. So explore who you are; your talents, your beliefs, your aspirations. Explore your associations, Feel in your heart what has meaning and purpose for you and express this truth in your daily life.
You are destined for greatness.
Have a great week.
God Bless you.
