It’s 2017!!! Whoop ? ?So, here is a list of 20 Things You Must Do in 2017, in no particular order. Trust me, If you can tick all of them as DONE by December 31, 2017, it would have definitely been an amazingly splendid year. But starting early will be a huge plus.

  1. Stop Procrastinating

The biggest barrier that keeps most people from reaching their goals is the desire to relax and do something fun instead of working hard. You’ll need to put in a lot of effort to stop this bad habit.

  1. Improve Concentration on Mental Skills

This is very vital and most people want to achieve this as it helps to control one’s mood, helps one to learn faster and have an easier time solving problems.

  1. Get in Shape

Losing weight and getting in shape is what most people want to achieve. It’s easy to say you want to lose weight, but it actually requires a lot of discipline and hard work. Workout, eating healthy and drinking a lot of water is very necessary. If you need to sign up at a gym, make workout buddies, attend a course…anything, do it.

  1. Meet New People

Meeting people can be beneficial to your mental well-being and most people who desire to do this as it brings about interesting opportunities. So, overcome shyness and meet new people. 

  1. Become More Tidy

There are a lot of people who can’t really get their stuff together and organize themselves. Being untidy can affect productivity and mood negatively. So, it helps when you clear the clutter. Clean out and live a more tidy and organized life.

  1. Find a Significant Other/Partner

Most people need someone to hold at night, talk to and share deep thoughts and secrets with. But finding the right person is not done sitting down, we need to go out and get to know people before we can find the one we can get along with really well.

  1. Spending More Time with the People that Matter

Life is too short to be wasted on insincere and toxic people. You should rather focus on the people who you care about and who care about you as this helps you to stay happy.

  1. Get Out of Debt

Debt is a great weight and one can’t move forward in debt so it just better and easier to pay off your debt and be free.

  1. Earn More Money

Even the rich people still look for more ways to earn money and yet common folks just sit around. Try to search around today, there are plenty options and opportunities to explore.

  1. Start Saving Money

Once your debt is under control, putting some money aside will not be a bad idea. Keep some for rainy days and some extra for going on vacation, fixing up your house or buying a new car.

  1. Volunteer and Give More to Charity

Helping those in need is a noble gesture and a reward in itself. The mere act of doing for someone what they would not have been able to do for themselves is enough reward for helping. Be intentional about this.

  1. Pick Up Useful Skills or Fun Hobbies

Just sitting around all day won’t get you anywhere. It is much better to use free time in a constructive manner and pick up new skills while having fun at the same time. You will be glad you did.

13. Turn Your Hobby into a Career

The best feeling is marrying fun and productivity and still making money at the same time. Many people think a hobby can’t be a career but it can actually and when it happens, trust there will be a lot of productivity in the world,just do it and you will be shocked at how productive you will become.

  1. Re-Invent Yourself

No matter how old you think or feel you are, if you don’t feel quite happy with what you do it’s never too late to make a change because happiness is very important. Re-inventing yourself changes your perspective and helps achieve unimaginable dreams.

  1. Learn to Let Go of Grudges and Avoid Moping

If you have a big fight with someone and they hurt you, not forgiving them and letting go will only make you “sadder”. Forgiving is a much healthier way to deal with issues. Offenses are better left in the past for the sake of happiness.

Readers are leaders and books are a great way to gain a great amount of knowledge on variety of topics. It’s not actually as hard as it seems, just try to make it a habit, discover your type of books and find time to read at least everyday.

  1. Watch Less TV/Serial Programs

The average person spends a lot of time in front of the tv, that time could be used for more productive ventures. Once you cut down on TV or Serial Programs, you will realize how productive you can become.

  1. Become More Romantic

There is always a spark at the beginning of most relationships but learn for it not to wither away. More romantic gestures can keep it going.

19. Spend Less Time on Social Media

One might not watch TV or play video games but social media has become an addiction. It’s fine to stay in touch with friends and family but when it becomes an addiction, its time to make a change.

  1. Get More Quality Sleep

With TV, smartphones, internet and forming there is a lot to do,many people have come to neglect sleep, which is actually very important. At least have 8 hours of sleep a night. It will keep you refreshed in the day and make you achieve more.
