Is there such a thing as a Platonic or Unromantic Cuddle?

Is there such a thing as a platonic or unromantic cuddle? I have heard people say that they don’t have to have a romantic feeling or sexual intention to cuddle with someone of the opposite sex. And that they can cuddle without any thought crossing their mind.

I am not referring to a mother holding her son/daughter and I’m not referring to the cuddle between siblings.

We were asked this question on our Instagram page @lifegivadotcom and we got these responses;

Interesing feedbacks from Instagram.

I want to ask some questions that might helpe with your own comment;

  • What is the difference between a platonic cuddle and a romantic cuddle?
  • Will it bother you if you see your partner “platonically” cuddling his/her friend?
  • Are both parties on the same page (that is, know this is just platonic), and not that one party is catching feelings and being turned on?
  • Does it create lust in your heart?

Now over to you. Is there such a thing as a platonic/unromantic or harmless cuddle between parties not mother and child or brother or sister?
