I write this as a young man to young men.
As a man in a society that the world has given a free hand to do anything
I will not take what is not mine.
I am betrothed to a way and a manner of life
Call me old school or less a man, but the gods must be crazy if what makes a man is his promiscuity.
But,
I would not talk to any woman in any manner to take advantage of her heart or body. Understanding that she is frail and her mind is mild. I would not push to her what is meant for another or have my way for the pleasure or lusty desire of manly ego.
I would not unduly communicate in a misleading manner to her false hope or intentions. To any length or the extent to weary her heart or burden her with the esteem of comfort in me. Confidence in me that is not meant for her. I would not give her what is meant for another.
I would not cast away my pearls to the swine. Not to be enticed by strange women. Holding on to my convictions and truths of dedication. I would flee if need be, abscond when they call with their lustful looks and vain compliments. Never to bring to heart her subtle vile call but flee.
I will not prey on the innocent or feed the friendly hearts with uncertain hope.
My heart would not fail me concerning my true love who I remain true to always. In her presence or absence, I remain faithful and perhaps she is yet to be mine, I would keep myself for her. For what is a treasure if it is not kept.
What is a man if he has not kept any treasure in his heart, soul and body for he that is joint with another is one with her.
I remain true to my beloved always.
So help me God
