Such love you possess so deep I feel it while asleep.
With discipline and fear of your whip a mother’s love, I can’t see the
depth of it.
Nine months you carried me keeping me safe and fit.
In pain you endured and harboured the bitterness of loves hit.
With my plenty lies and deceit, still your soothing care did not deplete.
Yet in selflessness you still share, knowing I stand strong on my feet.
A virtuous woman, mother, friend, I call you my shiny star that brings refreshing air in the time of heat.
Thanks for all the love, you didn’t spare your worries, prayers and care.
You’ve made living worth it.
