I have had an experience of being chased by four angry dogs. It wasn’t a funny experience at all. I’m sure you might have had one too or heard of someone’s experience, but I’ve never heard a case of someone chased (pursued) to terror by a goat or a lizard. It has never happened in history to my knowledge and it can never happen. Why? The goat or lizard can do human beings no harm, they even run at our appearance when we are not even conscious of their presence.
If you can’t run from or be afraid of a lizard or goat, then why are you afraid of the devil? Yes, Satan and his little agents. The scriptures say he is like a roaring lion. Oh lion, you say, no don’t you know what a simile is, it’s a just a comparison. But before you conclude on picking a race, remember Colossians 2:15 says of Jesus that He disarmed the devil and his agents.
Colossians 2:15 (AMP) [God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross].
This implies that Jesus left devil, the lion toothless, claw-less and totally harmless. That is why the Bible makes emphasis on roaring – all he can do is make noise. He can’t do you any harm.
Won’t you be foolish to run from a toothless and claw-less lion? It is as good as the pillow on my bed or as a donkey to be ridden on.
Recall that the devil was a FALLEN angel – the best he was, was Angel. He was never equal to God. Remember, you are a god, made in God’s class, in His image and likeness. Jesus gave you all the authority in heaven and on earth. He left nothing for the devil.
So, next time the devil roars at you, clap your hand and say “Thanks for the show/entertainment.” Be mindful of your joint positioning with God in heavenly places far above principalities and powers and every name [Ephesians 1:20].
Practice your authority! Show off your power!! It was given to you to reign with.
I see you living above all fears and worries, emboldened to face any sitiuation.

Pastor Abraham, i really enjoyed this beautiful illustration of seeing the devil as an entertainer. He must be really bored moving around, looking for who to entertain. Unfortunately, he hasn’t improved his skills over a long period of time. This is most enlightening!!!!!!!
