Says who???

tumblr_leze5okvD01qg4mi8o1_500We have found ourselves in a world where “someone said this”, “my doctor said that”, “the economy says this”, “the government says that” is the order of the day. Nobody seems to have a word of their own anymore. Everybody draws a conclusion of what their life or experience will be based on opinion of a human being like them.
Man Crawling With House, Car, Baby And Taxes Being Loaded On His Back
For instance you hear a business man going to work in the morning saying “I don’t even know what the day holds”, because it was on the news the previous night that the market value for his product is falling rapidly. Or a student saying “I am afraid I might fail this course because I heard 80% of students that offer it fail every year”. You hear people make statements like “they say there is a new virus in town” so they are afraid or “the Doctor said I might not survive this sickness”.
Who made the doctor, economy or the Government God over you???? Statements like these get me angry. Who says your experiences must be the same as everybody’s. What makes you think you cannot be an exception.  The bible says Romans 3:4 Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar… No man has the right to determine what happens to you, only you and God does.
As Christians and God’s children we live by a different set of rules, think of Isaac, he sowed in a dead land where his neighbors got no yield, He didn’t only get a harvest but it was a hundred fold

Genesis 26:12-14 Then Isaac sowed seed in that land and received in the same year a hundred times as much as he had planted, and the Lord favored him with blessings. And the man became great and gained more and more until he became very wealthy and distinguished; He owned flocks, herds, and a great supply of servants, and the Philistines envied him.

The story didn’t end there, he dug well in the desert land and got water,if it was once you might say it’s a coincidence, but he did it four different times and got the same result while the Philistine got no result. How did this happen? The heathen king himself confessed “Genesis 26:28 We saw that the Lord was certainly with you…“.

I'm not listeningIs the Lord with you? Then look on to him for your own experiences not the world. Confession according to the bible is “acknowledgment; saying the same thing God said about you”. Mind what you listen to, choose not to listen to the world but “the Word”
