The whole earth is filled with the goodness of the Lord and The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Isn’t God just brilliant, He made the big Elephant and the great whale, but He created the microscopic insects like the flea also, but beyond the obvious things we can see, have we stopped to observe the tiniest of details, the very insignificant differences he slashed the creation with?
On today’s God’s Greatest Inventions, we’ll be looking at THE COLOUR OF THE HUMAN EYES.
It is said that like the human thumb print, the iris of the human eyes is also unique one person from another, but the focus of this post is the different and beautiful eye colours God gave man.
Like the previous posts we looked at A SMILE, THE YAWN, THE TEARS, THE COCK CROW, THE WINK all these are proofs of God’s ingenuity because he could have not created us with the beautiful and unique gifts of different eye colours, but He did.
Whether you like your eye colour or you appreciates your friend’s better than yours, you still have to acknowledge that God was brilliant, inventive about the different eye colours.
Science has it that the colour of the human eyes is a genetic trait, i.e. gotten from the parent’s genes. Human eye colour originates with three genes, two of which are well understood. These genes account for the most common colours — green, brown, and blue. Other colours, such as gray, hazel and multiple combinations are not fully understood or explain-able at this time. So when next you see someone and you notice their eye colour, remember to acknowledge the wisdom of the God that thought to that level of specificity.
