This is my song right here; it’s been on my playlist for up to if not more than a year now. It just came up in the shuffle, and I decided to use it for my first “Playlist” post. The songs addresses something I’ve had to grapple with in the not so distant past – certain teachings insinuate that when one suffers or is afflicted by the situations of the world, it points to one’s lack of faith or whatever. God is sovereign over all, and in this do I rest my case. Let us therefore not set our eyes on these things as assurance of His love or His will being done.
The bible in the book of Romans 8:38-39 says that
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
